Barrio Taco – Kalamazoo, MI

Square

This is the 6th restaurant I have painted. The entire space is 3100 square feet large. I hired 2 artists to work under me to complete this project in 3 weeks. Every inch of wall space is hand painted. Each location is painted in the restaurants branding colors and styles. I incorporate locally inspired images from the area, or nods to Cleveland, the city the company began. This restaurant includes many hidden images and some, not so hidden. I decided to paint the owners in this mural as a wedding gift to the couple. I painted a leg lamp to represent Cleveland.
