Barrio Taco – Grand Rapids, MI

Square

This is the 4th restaurant I have painted. The entire space is 2200 square feet large and was finished in 3 weeks. Every inch of wall space is hand painted. Each location is painted in the restaurants branding colors and styles. I incorporate locally inspired images from the area. For this one, I took inspiration from an international arts competition that is hosted in Grand Rapids called Art Prize. I used historical art works and painted them in ‘Barrio-style’. Featured in the image here is Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.
